Product Business AnalystWhat does a successful Product Business Analyst do at Fiserv?
At Fiserv, the Product Business Analyst is a key driver in revealing and articulating the business needs of our clients. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to transform complex requirements into actionable solutions that elevate our products and enhance the client experience. What you will do:
- Create detailed data mapping from source to target systems, ensuring clarity and precision in all documentation.
- Gather and document business requirements, identifying current needs and recommending effective solutions.
- Evaluate client requirements to determine compatibility with existing functionalities and suggest improvements.
- Analyze complex issues and translate findings into actionable steps for the technical team.
- Anticipate post-production implications of the delivered requirements and assess their impacts on stakeholders.
- Determine stakeholder involvement in projects and measure the effectiveness of implemented solutions.
What you will need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 6-8 years of analysis experience, with a proven track record in translating complex issues into actionable steps.
- Extensive experience in Agile methodologies, preferably SAFE, and proficient in using JIRA for drafting features and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal guidance while rapidly adapting to changing priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to professionally interact with a diverse group, including clients, developers, testers, and subject matter experts.
What would be great to have:
- Qualification in Business or Accounting.
- SQL scripting capabilities, along with knowledge of financial services and payments.
- Experience in payments and transaction processing, including transaction pricing and scheme fees.
- Familiarity with transaction workflow modeling and software development processes.
