What does a successful Professional, Systems Engineering do?

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled individual to join our team as a 24x7 IT Tech Helpdesk Operator. In this role, you will be responsible for providing efficient and effective technical support to our organization's employees and clients. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in IT troubleshooting, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

What you will do:

• Provide first-level technical support via phone, email, and chat to end-users experiencing hardware, software, and network-related issues.

• Diagnose and resolve technical problems, including desktop/laptop issues, software installations, network connectivity, and printing problems.

• Utilize remote access tools to troubleshoot and resolve issues on user devices.

• Document all support incidents, interactions, and solutions in the helpdesk ticketing system.

• Escalate complex technical issues to higher-level IT support teams and collaborate closely with them to ensure timely resolution.

• Assist with password resets, account unlock requests, and access management. • Ensure proper recording, tracking, and closure of all issues, adhering to defined service level agreements (SLAs).

• Provide clear and concise communication to end-users, ensuring they understand the steps being taken to resolve their issues.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest IT trends, technologies, and best practices to enhance technical knowledge and problem-solving skills

What you will need to have:
• 3+ years of experience in a technical support role, preferably in a helpdesk environment and Data
Center Operations.
• 3+ years of experience with Windows and macOS operating systems.
• 3+ years of experience with ServiceNow, Splunk, and Dynatrace.
• 3+ years of experience in Incident and Change management processes.
• Graduation or equivalent; relevant technical certifications or coursework are a plus.
• Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).

What would be great to have:

• Extensive experience diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to Microsoft Office Suite, email clients, and common business software applications.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think logically and critically.

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical users.

• Customer-centric attitude with a strong sense of empathy and patience.

• Experience with flexible work hours and the capability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
