SVP & CIO, PaymentsWhat does a great SVP & CIO, Payments do at Fiserv?
As the SVP & CIO, Payments you will hold a critical role within our organization, reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer (CIO). You will have oversight of key technological areas, including Treasury Systems, Risk Management, and Financial Operations. Your main objective will be to lead, develop, and execute a technology vision and roadmap to enhance our treasury operations, mitigate risks, and drive continuous innovation.
What you will do:
- Develop and implement a technology strategy and roadmap that aligns with the treasury business strategy and objectives, collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of treasury systems and applications, ensuring their efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with the Treasury department and other key stakeholders to identify and prioritize technology initiatives and investments, fostering strong communication and interpersonal skills with both internal and external teams.
- Drive the adoption of emerging technologies such as blockchain, cloud computing, and data analytics to optimize treasury operations and enhance credibility with clients through collaborative engagements.
- Champion cybersecurity and risk management practices, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of treasury data and systems.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement in treasury operations.
- Push for automation, efficiency, and productivity through effective technology leadership, focusing on improving operational effectiveness.
What you will need to have:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (required).
- Strong knowledge of treasury systems, risk management practices, and financial operations.
- Familiarity with emerging technologies and their application in treasury operations.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute technology strategies that align with business goals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and address technology-related challenges.
- Project management skills to lead technology initiatives and ensure successful implementation.
What would be great to have:
- Experience in the financial services industry, particularly in treasury or cash management operations.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as SOX, PCI-DSS, and data privacy laws.
