Senior Production Support Engineer

What does a successful Senior Production Support Engineer do at Fiserv?

You will help build the world’s best digital operations platform for restaurants. You will work with Django/Python and React technology.

What you will do:

• Identify root cause for reported defects and implement fixes in production.
• Manage quality in the production environment as part of an on-call rotation.
• Work with other engineers to perform upgrades to our platform.
• Contribute unit and integration tests for new and existing features
• Uphold BentoBox’s core mission, vision, and values
• After hours on call monitoring (rotation based once a week every 2-month period)

What you will need to have:

• High School graduate/GED
• 5 years of experience writing production code.
• Experience with Python/Django
• Experience Javascript.
• Experience with React and Redux.
• Experience working with relational databases (Postgres preferably)
• Experience working in an Agile environment.

What would be great to have:

• Experience writing unit tests for existing/new features (Jest, Pytest preferably).
• Experience using debugging tools. (Pdb, Datadog)
• An understanding of Web Architectures (serverless optional)
• Experience with Jinja Templating
• Experience with Node.
• Experience with automation testing.
• Experience monitoring systems to maximize uptime.

Salary Range

$108,900.00 - $186,800.00

These pay ranges apply to employees in New York and California. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
