Job Title
Senior Technical Program ManagerWhat does a successful Senior Technical Program Manager do at Fiserv?
You will deliver program outcomes within time, cost, quality, and customer satisfaction parameters for strategic initiatives. You will provide leadership, vision, strategic planning and support tactical execution plans, as programs typically cross multiple business areas and have a high degree of complexity and risk associated with them. You will ensure predictable, consistent, and successful program delivery while providing a holistic view of the overall program to the organization and all stakeholders.
What you will do:
- Create and maintain a consolidated timeline, schedule, highlight the major milestones and associated dates for program activities
- Identify and communicate program, project dependencies and impacts
- Put mechanisms in place to ensure ongoing control of the program: approach, communication plan, risk management, and issues
- Define program governance outlining roles and responsibilities, decision rights, and clearly defined escalation path
- Ensure success criteria defined upfront to promote alignment and actively manage expected program outcomes
- Keep all internal and external stakeholders engaged in the program, aligned on expected outcomes and informed about what is occurring throughout program
- Communicate program progress on an ongoing basis, ensure transparency throughout program lifecycle
- Provide leadership and key stakeholders with the information and venues to make effective, timely decisions
What you will need to have:
- 10+ years of experience in program or project management, implementation, and consulting
- 7+ years of experience with technical program management
- 7+ years of experience in project or program management processes and methodologies, as well as project lifecycle
- 7+ years of experience with reporting information and hurdles directly to senior leadership
- 5+ years of experience driving large-scale change efforts such as datacenter migrations
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education, military, and work experience
What would be great to have:
- Experience in the financial services or banking domain
- Project management certifications
