Technical User-Experience (UX) Designer

What does a successful User Experience (UX) Designer do at Fiserv?
A successful UX Designer at Fiserv creates user-centered designs that enhance user experience and improve the overall usability of our products and services. By collaborating with cross-functional teams including product management and engineering, they deliver innovative design solutions that meet the needs of our users. This role is pivotal in accelerating the massive rewrite of our product's UX, ensuring timely and effective design implementations to support our developers in producing new UX quicker.

What you will do:

• Conduct user research to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points through interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
• Develop personas, user journeys, and wireframes to conceptualize and visualize design solutions.
• Create high-fidelity prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts and interactions.
• Collaborate with product managers and developers to ensure alignment of designs with business goals.
• Conduct usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on designs based on user insights.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in UX design.

What you will need to have:

• 5+ years of proven experience as a UX Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing design work.
• 3+ years of proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar.
• 5+ years of experience with user-centered design principles and methodologies.
• 5+ years of excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in UX Design, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, or a related field, and/or equivalent military experience.
