What does a successful Windows Engineer do at Fiserv?
A successful Windows Engineer at Fiserv ensures the seamless operation and optimization of our Windows server environments. You will be a crucial member of our IT team, working collaboratively to implement and support complex IT solutions, ensuring maximum uptime and performance for our clients and internal systems. Your role will leverage your technical acumen and problem-solving abilities to maintain a reliable and secure IT infrastructure.
What you will do:

• Implement and maintain Windows server environments, ensuring optimal performance.
• Manage system configurations, installations, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to define systems requirements d deliver innovative solutions.
• Ensure systems are secure and compliant with industry standards.
• Provide technical support and guidance to team members and end-users.
• Monitor system performance, resolve issues promptly, and implement necessary improvements.
• Manage VM’s in ESX environment.
• Provide technical support for Linux and automation tools(Server builds, Patch Management and Vulnerability fix etc..,)

What you will need to have:
• 5+ years of experience in managing and maintaining Windows server environments.
• 5+ years of experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS.
• 4+ years of experience in PowerShell scripting and automation.
• 4+ years of experience with virtualization technologies like VMware or Hyper-V.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience.
What would be great to have:
• 5+ years of experience with Azure or other cloud platforms.
• 4+ years of experience with storage solutions such as SAN or NAS.
• 3+ years of experience with ITIL framework and practices.
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or similar certifications.
• Experience with disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
