What does a successful Audit Manager do at Fiserv?

At Fiserv, a successful Internal Audit Manager plays a crucial role in auditing various financial and compliance areas, ensuring adherence to internal policies and regulatory standards. As a key member of our team, you will provide valuable insights and recommendations to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. This role demands critical thinking, leadership, and exceptional analytical skills to drive audit strategies and support overall business goals.

What you will do:

• Lead complex operational, compliance, or IT-focused audits in the U.S. and internationally.
• Guide audit staff in executing audits and reviews outlined in the Internal Audit Plan.
• Evaluate and enhance the effectiveness of Fiserv's governance, risk management, and internal control environment.
• Perform risk assessments and develop audit plans.
• Perform risk assessments and develop audit plans.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to engagement team members to drive continuous improvement.
• Offer actionable recommendations to improve operational efficiency and adherence to industry standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to foster a culture of compliance and continuous improvement.
• Maintain updated knowledge of regulatory changes, industry standards, and best practices.

What you will need to have:

• 6+ years of experience in public accounting or financial services industry (includes Internal Audit, Internal Controls, Risk Management, Compliance) with experience leading audit teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, information systems, or a related field and/or equivalent military experience.
• Relevant professional certifications such as CPA, CIA, CISA, CFE, CRMA.

What would be great to have:

• Advanced degree in a related field.
• Experience in financial services or fintech industry.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards like FFIEC, NIST, COBIT, or PCI DSS.
• Experience leveraging data analytics within the audit function.
