Clover UK Sales DirectorWhat does a successful Field Sales Director do at Fiserv?
The Field Sales Director will be a recognised leader of our field-based Business Consultants and Area Sales Managers to grow the level of boarded small and medium sized (SMB) businesses across the UK. This is short cycle merchant services sales team operating nationally. You will be primarily targeted on levels of new merchants activated by your sales team but you will also be responsible for managing the quality of sales (customer longevity, satisfaction etc).
You will be a senior member of the Clover UK Leadership team and responsible for driving the profitability, risk management and strategy of the Clover UK business overall. In this regard, the role will be office based located in Basildon, Essex.
What you will do:
Lead, manage and motivate a team of successful Business Consultants and Area Sales Managers across the UK.
You will be adept at developing sales and lead generation strategies in this business-to-business environment (B2B), As well as leveraging Clover partner relationships (or micro merchant sales for Clover's various organizations or verticals) to source sales opportunities.
You will also be responsible for building a sustainable pipeline of new business with consistent performance across the whole team while also being mindful of sales strategies that help Clover retain clients for the long term.
Recruit, retain and manage a highly effective sales team via day-to-day management but also in devising training plans and strategies that gain greater value from our salespeople.
Be responsible for and continually improve the quality of sales in terms of customer longevity, complaint levels, regulatory obligations and standards and so on.
As the lead our National Sales force, you will always represent Fiserv values of embodying the highest ethical standards and treating others with dignity, respect, and genuine concern and ensuring your team do the same.

What you will need to have:
Track record of managing teams and delivering high level of results and motivation.
Track record of implementing and managing organisational change to achieve KPIs and objectives.
Track record of delivering high level of results against multiple KPIs, ability to use data and insight to drive improved performance.
Ability to adapt to short cycle sales environment and constantly evolve the sales strategy.
Knowledge of Product Lines being sold and their profitability, risk dynamics end-to-end.
Experience in selling a range of value added solutions and deep knowledge of their features and benefits for customers.
Track record in recruiting, retaining and motivating high calibre staff and managing performance across individuals and teams.
Experience of sales incentive plans and their design to generate optimal business outcomes.
Highly effective at Stakeholder management and ability to partner effectively with non-Sales teams like Risk, Compliance, Product to achieve optimal business outcomes.
Highly self-driven and motivated and high expectations of the team.
What would be great to have:
Prior experience in a quota driven self-sourcing sales environment for small to medium size clients.
Prior experience in Sales Scoping and Qualification, Sales Closing and Agreements, Field Sales/TeleSales/ Prospecting.
Prior experience as a Manager of Managers.
