Salesforce Administrator

Role Description

  • Provide Salesforce consultancy to the RPS EMEA alliances and operational departments.

  • Support the management of the daily amendment and issue requests within the SLAs agreed within the engagement model.

  • Ensure projects are initiated correctly, well scoped, estimates & project plans are produced.

  • Play a key role during the analysis, implementation and release phases to ensure the functional designs meet business requirements and deliver the defined benefits.

  • Collaborate and influence users and management in the definition, analysis, design and acceptance of new processes and systems.

  • Suggest innovative ways of delivering efficiencies to the EMEA Salesforce instance and supporting processes.

  • Configure changes to support the request.

  • Test the changes in a Sandbox & Admin Sandbox to ensure it meets the business need.

  • Implement the changes into Production & manage the process to business as usual support.

  • Provide subject matter expertise to the Business Solutions & Innovation team.

  • Support the development of the testing regime. Ensure it is both flexible and secure.

  • Produce reports as & when required by the team, EMEA Alliances & operational departments.

  • Provide practical support to users, along with train the trainer.

Hours of Working

  • 35 Hours per week standard contract between the hours of 8am & 5pm GMT, Monday to Friday.

Performance Criteria

  • Attendance and timeliness, finishing and completion.

  • Understanding of the acquiring business.

  • Detailed understanding of the Salesforce product.

  • Willingness to “go the extra mile.

  • High level of customer satisfaction from the service provided.

  • High level of getting it right first time for customer interaction.

Personal / People Skills / Experience

  • Practical experience of configuring the Salesforce product in a Sales & Operational environment for at least three years.

  • Salesforce 201, 301 examination successes.

  • Customer first mentality.

  • Strong people skills.

  • Ability to develop relationships with Product, Technical and Lines of Business.

  • Experience and ability in using soft skills to defuse potentially damaging alliance partner & departmental situations.

  • Professional approach to dealing with alliance partners and both internal and external customers.

  • Ability to support meetings, reviews and workshops involving internal and external participants.

  • Awareness of commercial sensitivity and data security is paramount.

  • Developed Salesforce product implementation skills.

  • Able to adapt to change and handle multiple acquirer partners & merchants.

  • High degree of skill with change management.

  • Good teamwork skills.

  • A high level of communication skills both written and verbal.

  • A high level of interpersonal skills to liaise with staff at all levels.

  • A high level of service & timely responses to all internal & external customers.

  • Good analytical skills.

  • Proactive thinking.

  • A high level of self-motivation.

  • A high level of planning and organisation skills.

  • High standard in the use of Microsoft Office products – MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Experience of the following will also be viewed positively, however, not essential;

  • A working knowledge of Fiserv’s Merchant processes, Merchant Star International, OmniPay & eMAXS platforms.

  • Good acquiring knowledge.

  • Financial Services or Banking Industry background.
