Broadcom NetOps Developer

About Your Role

As a Broadcom NetOps Developer, you will manage and enhance our Broadcom NetOps platform, ensuring the health, performance, and automation of network observability systems. You will collaborate with engineering teams to develop automation workflows, integrate monitoring solutions, and maintain Linux-based infrastructure.

What you’ll do:

  • Manage and maintain Broadcom NetOps Performance Management and associated components
  • Design and implement automation scripts and workflows for network monitoring tasks
  • Develop custom integrations and dashboards using APIs
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot Linux servers hosting NetOps components
  • Ensure system security, performance optimization, and patching validation
  • Use your understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, SNMP, ICMP) to monitor network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.) and analyze alerts & performance metrics to ensure uptime and reliability
  • Create and maintain health check dashboards for network performance
  • Work with cross-functional teams to integrate NetOps with other observability platforms (e.g., MoogSoft and ServiceNow)

Experience you’ll need to have:

  • 8+ years of overall networking experience, preferably at an enterprise level
  • 5+ years of experience with Broadcom NetOps Performance Management
  • 5+ years of experience with scripting and automation tools (Python, Bash, OpenText, etc.)
  • 3+ years of Linux server administration experience
  • 3+ years of experience with SNMP monitoring and device polling with strong familiarity with network infrastructure and troubleshooting
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience

Experience that would be great to have:

  • Prior experience with ServiceNow, MoogSoft, OpenText Operations Orchestration, and Rundeck
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Experience with Swagger/OpenAPI for API development
  • Familiarity with Spectrum, Splunk, Extrahop, or other observability tools
  • Prior knowledge of public cloud (AWS) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)

How you’ll work:

  • Fiserv emphasizes in-person collaboration to help you grow your career while shaping the future of fintech, this role is on-site Monday through Friday
  • This role requires being on-call during non-standard and/or overnight hours on a rotational basis
  • This role requires flexibility to work overtime that includes weekends and holidays
  • This role requires use of a computer and audio equipment

Travel:

  • Approximately 5% travel off-site or to other office locations is expected
