This is more than a technical role—it's a leadership opportunity to influence enterprise-wide cloud adoption, modernize legacy systems, and build scalable, secure, and future-ready solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect Cloud Solutions: Design scalable, secure, and repeatable cloud architectures aligned with business goals and M&A strategies.
- Lead Technical Assessments: Identify gaps, define target states, and develop roadmaps for cloud transformation.
- Drive Integration: Extend enterprise capabilities to acquired companies, including operating model alignment and deployment strategies.
- Modernize Infrastructure: Champion cloud-native technologies, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and automation.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with Development, Product, and Infrastructure teams to ensure seamless cloud adoption.
- Optimize & Automate: Evaluate and streamline processes, handoffs, and workflows using automation and modern tooling.
- Influence Strategy: Provide thought leadership on cloud governance, architecture best practices, and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Cloud Expertise: 4+ years in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud environments
- DevOps & Automation: Hands-on experience with tools like Jenkins, GitHub, Octopus Deploy, Salt, or Fabric
- Networking Know-How: Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, load balancing, SDWAN, and routing
- Resilience Engineering: Experience designing High Availability and Disaster Recovery (HA/DR) solutions, including multi-region active/active setups
- M&A Experience: Proven ability to work with acquired companies and align them with enterprise cloud strategies
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
Additional Qualifications a Plus:
- Experience in regulated industries (e.g., financial services)
- Familiarity with Well-Architected Frameworks and multi-tenant architecture
- Passion for learning and staying ahead of cloud trends
