Job Title

Director of Product Management, ISO & Channel Enablement

As the Director of Product Management for ISO & Channel Enablement, you will own the product strategy, lifecycle, and market execution for capabilities specifically tailored to our Independent Sales Organization (ISO) partner networks and merchant aggregators. This portfolio acts as a critical distribution mechanism for Fiserv’s core processing and software services.

In this role, you will be responsible for modernizing, scaling, and managing the end-to-end product features that allow wholesale ISOs and agents to acquire, board, and manage their merchant portfolios. You will optimize partner-facing APIs, portal ecosystems, and developer toolkits to position Fiserv as the primary merchant terminal and gateway back-end provider. You will bridge complex technical solutions—such as onboarding data capture, underwriting orchestration, risk/compliance validation, and gateway API tooling—to drive adoption across our merchant segments.

What you will do:

Product Portfolio Strategy & Roadmap Ownership

  • Own the Strategic Vision: Develop and execute a multi-year product strategy for the ISO channel to maximize merchant acquisition volume, maximize partner retention, and increase portfolio processing efficiency.

  • Feature Prioritization: Translate the needs of high-volume wholesale ISOs, multi-MID providers, and sub-merchants into clear product requirement documentation (PRDs) and maintain a ranked development backlog.

  • Omni-Channel Integration: Collaborate with key product houses (e.g., Commerce Hub, and Clover) to wrap core transactional engines, secure tokens (TransArmor/Network Tokens), and payment endpoints into specialized packages optimized for third-party resale

ISO Onboarding & Experience Orchestration

  • Streamline the Funnel: Design, build, and scale configurable merchant boarding orchestration components to handle everything from automated SMB merchant self-service signups to complex, partner-driven enterprise layouts.

  • Frictionless Integration: Modernize the technical onboarding workflow by leveraging platform-based data capture APIs and SDKs to lower time-to-market for prospective processing networks.

  • Risk & Compliance Coordination: Align product flows with enterprise Risk, Underwriting, and Compliance divisions to streamline automated Know Your Customer (KYC) / Know Your Business (KYB) data paths without disrupting the user acquisition funnel.

Partner Go-To-Market & Executive Presence

  • Voice of the Channel: Serve as the authoritative product voice representing Fiserv's ISO platform to internal stakeholders, partner leadership groups (C-Suite), and external industry forums.

  • Commercial Strategy: Collaborate with the sales and marketing networks to build competitive go-to-market initiatives, pricing engines, contract options, and developer sandboxes.

  • Matrix Leadership: Steer cross-functional execution across dedicated Engineering, Architecture, Product Marketing, Legal, and Finance groups to ensure downstream alignment ahead of global software updates.

Optimization, Data, & Lifecycle Management

  • Funnel Analytics: Implement tracking parameters to evaluate platform performance, funnel drop-off points, configuration bottle-necks, and portfolio health indicators.

  • Transaction Integrity Compliance: Update system workflows to comply with shifting card network regulations, ensuring data structures cleanly differentiate and capture compliance indicators for both Cardholder-Initiated (CIT) and Merchant-Initiated (MIT) recurring payment cycles.

What you need to have:

  • Years of Experience: Minimum of 8+ years of progressive product management experience within the payments, fintech, or corporate merchant banking industries.

  • Leadership Experience: At least 3+ years leading complex product portfolios, engineering-heavy domains, or platform initiatives in a matrixed enterprise landscape.

  • Domain Knowledge: Deep, operational understanding of the Merchant Acquiring and ISO distribution architecture—including merchant boarding, multi-MID splits, underwriting criteria, interchange optimization strategies, and merchant gateways.

  • Technical Aptitude: Proven track record deploying technical, developer-centric product specifications including RESTful APIs, multi-layered security tokens, orchestration layers, webhooks, and drop-in hosted UI portals.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business-related field (Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering) or equivalent practical experience.

What is nice to have:

  • Extensive familiarity with merchant lifecycle management tools like CoPilot or merchant tools such as CardPointe.

  • Practical experience dealing with multi-party payment models, marketplace payments, split-settlements, or embedded financial services ecosystems.

  • Prior experience translating highly complex legacy underwriting architectures into automated, real-time digital software workflows.

Travel:

  • Up to 20% travel
