What does a successful Product Manager do?

At Fiserv, the Product Manager for the Restaurant vertical plays a crucial role in shaping the future of our restaurant technology offerings. This position seeks visionary leadership to drive innovation, enhance customer experiences, and ensure the growth of Clover's products within the competitive restaurant industry. Our mission is to align advanced technology with the dynamic needs of the restaurant sector, providing solutions that streamline operations and improve service quality.

What you will do:

• Develop a comprehensive product strategy that aligns with Clover’s overall goals and objectives.
• Define a clear vision for the evolution of our restaurant technology products, including digital ordering, table management, and payment systems.
• Identify emerging trends and technological advancements in the restaurant industry to stay ahead of the competition.
• Lead and inspire a cross-functional product team, including product managers, designers, marketers, and engineers.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment, encouraging creativity and continuous improvement.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, supporting their professional development.
• Drive the end-to-end product development lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
• Collaborate closely with engineering and design teams to define product requirements, user stories, and features.
• Create and maintain a product roadmap that reflects market demands, customer needs, and strategic priorities.
• Conduct thorough market research to identify customer pain points, preferences, and competitive landscape.
• Gather and analyze customer feedback and usage data to iteratively improve product offerings.

What you will need to have:

• Proven track record of 13+ years in product management, with 8+ years in a leadership role within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or a related field and/or equivalent military experience.
• Deep understanding of restaurant operations, technology trends, and customer preferences.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data for decision-making.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to drive product innovation and business growth.

What would be great to have:

• 8+ years of experience in digital ordering systems.
• 9+ years of experience in leading cross-functional teams within the technology sector.
• 10+ years of experience in product management specifically for payment processing systems.
• 11+ years of experience in conducting market research and customer insights analysis.
• 12+ years of experience in product road mapping and lifecycle management.
