Technical Business Analysis - Advisor IIAbout your role:
As a Technical Business Analysis - Advisor II, you will serve as a senior advisor who translates complex business needs into scalable, API-enabled solutions across enterprise banking environments. You will partner with product owners, engineering teams, quality assurance, and business stakeholders to define requirements, data mappings, and process impacts across multiple initiatives. Your work will improve delivery clarity, solution reuse, and business alignment across core banking and integration platforms.
What you'll do:
- Serve as a senior advisor to product owners, development teams, and business stakeholders to define, refine, and translate complex business needs into scalable API-enabled solutions.
- Lead requirements analysis across multiple initiatives by identifying business capabilities, data needs, process impacts, and integration touchpoints.
- Partner with product owners and cross-functional stakeholders to decompose strategic business requirements into implementable features, services, and application programming interfaces (APIs).
- Drive the design of business-aligned data models and API specifications that support multiple business domains and enterprise reuse.
- Analyze backend application capabilities and data structures to define mappings between enterprise APIs and supporting systems.
- Establish and document end-to-end business processes, decision flows, functional rules, transformation logic, data lineage, and translation rules in collaboration with product owners, engineering teams, and other stakeholders.
- Act as a liaison across business, product, engineering, and quality assurance teams to ensure shared understanding of requirements, dependencies, test objectives, and delivery expectations.
- Facilitate stakeholder reviews of analysis deliverables, data mappings, and solution documentation to ensure alignment, completeness, and traceability.

Experience you'll need to have:
- 10+ years of experience in business analysis translating complex business strategy and requirements into functional specifications, process flows, data mappings, and API-ready designs.
- 10+ years of experience in one or more banking core platforms such as Premier, Signature, Cleartouch, Precision, or DNA.
- 8+ years of experience analyzing API-based applications, enterprise integrations, backend application capabilities, and supporting system data structures.
- 8+ years of experience defining element-to-element mappings, business rules, transformation logic, data lineage, and data translation across platforms.
- 8+ years of experience in financial services technology supporting domains such as account processing, card services, payments, or digital banking platforms.
- 1+ years of experience with Fiserv systems.
- Experience using analysis and delivery tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, SwaggerHub, Stoplight, Microsoft Visio, or similar tools.
- Bachelor's Degree in business, information systems, computer science, finance, or related field, or equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience.
Experience that would be great to have:
- Experience leading or advising on Representational State Transfer (REST) API analysis and service-oriented solution design.
- Experience using Copilot or similar artificial intelligence-enabled productivity tools.
- Experience validating test scenarios and expected outcomes against business requirements and mapping documentation.
- Experience influencing stakeholders and facilitating analysis efforts across high-visibility, cross-functional initiatives.
How you'll work:
- This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
- This role requires use of a computer and audio equipment.
