Description
About Gabbi
By age 50, most of us will have been personally touched by breast cancer—through a loved one or our own health journey. Gabbi’s mission is to make late-stage breast cancer obsolete by helping every woman understand her risk early and connecting her to the right breast specialists via telehealth and streamlined care navigation. When breast cancer is detected early, outcomes are dramatically better— we’re building a future where every woman knows her risk and gets the right care at the right time.
What You'll Do:
- Own the top of the funnel patient journey from initial outreach through appointment attendance—turning eligible leads into scheduled, prepared patients.
- Drive conversion by contacting prospective patients via phone, text, and email; answering questions with warmth and clarity; and helping patients take the next step to book.
- Get patients “appointment-ready.” Ensure patients complete required pre-visit steps (especially the Gabbi risk assessment), understand what to expect, and have the right information before they meet with a clinician.
- Reduce no-shows and last-minute cancellations by confirming appointments, troubleshooting barriers (tech, scheduling, transportation, anxiety/hesitation), and proactively rescheduling when needed.
- Run pre-appointment workflows with precision—verify eligibility criteria, confirm contact details, ensure intake forms are complete, and escalate urgent issues or clinical questions to the appropriate team member.
- Track and manage your pipeline daily using our tools/CRM: document outreach attempts, outcomes, and next steps; maintain clean data; and keep handoffs seamless across Care, Clinical, and Ops.
- Use data to improve performance—monitor conversion rate, risk assessment completion, show rate, and time-to-schedule; identify drop-off points and test improvements.
- Deliver a patient experience that builds trust in a sensitive, high-stakes area of health—helping patients feel supported, informed, and empowered before they even step into care.
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in a customer experience, customer service, care coordination, or patient-facing role, ideally within healthcare
- Strong interest in women’s health; comfort supporting patients through sensitive, high-emotion moments with empathy and discretion
- Tech-forward and eager to learn new tools/software quickly; comfortable working across multiple systems in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to own an initiative end-to-end—from identifying a need to executing, iterating, and delivering results
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; able to explain complex information clearly, kindly, and confidently
- Natural problem-solver with a “figure it out” mindset and a bias toward action
- Highly organized with impeccable attention to detail; able to manage multiple workstreams, deadlines, and follow-ups without things slipping
- Comfortable with ambiguity and rapid change; thrives in a build-and-iterate startup environment
- Bonus: experience at an early-stage startup
