This is an incredible opportunity where you will be working directly with the founding team. You will be amongst a world-class team with experience from BCG, early investors in Y Combinator, early NuBank (NYSE: NU), Zendesk, Hims & Hers, and many more. This is the first marketing hire after the founder CD.

What will you do?

Portfolio Growth Marketer

You’ll act as the bridge between Ground AI’s product and a portfolio of enterprise brands (beauty, apparel, supplements, etc.), helping them achieve their growth and revenue goals. You’ll be like a swiss army knife 🔪 with the ability to go quite deep 🧐
Strategic Campaign Oversight: Develop and oversee marketing strategies (primarily email and SMS, but extending to other channels as needed) tailored to each brand's goals and customer base.
Needs Assessment & Experimentation: Understand brand-specific quarterly goals and design monthly experiments to stress-test and optimize Ground AI features, collaborating with the product team to refine and co-create solutions.
Performance Analysis: Monitor key performance metrics, conduct A/B tests, and refine strategies based on insights. Perform data analysis to evaluate the impact of Ground AI on each brand’s top-line revenue.
Tool Implementation & Optimization: Implement and maximize the use of Ground AI’s features, ensuring seamless integration and measurable outcomes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with brand managers, creative teams, and Ground AI’s product team to align growth initiatives and deliver cohesive, effective marketing campaigns.
Innovation & Best Practices: Stay ahead of industry trends, incorporating innovative growth practices into marketing strategies to maintain competitiveness and scalability.
Customer-Centric Focus: Leverage customer insights and segmentation to deliver highly personalized and engaging marketing experiences that drive acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.

Ground

Internally support Ground’s content and marketing initiatives by working with design and product teams overseeing and executing on email marketing, social media, press/PR outreach, event marketing support, and video/podcast content.

What you must have

Required: Strong work ethic, resilience, and humble eagerness to learn
In this role, you will be tested to your limits and you will have to not just work hard but humbly accept when you fail, take feedback from the team, and exhibit strength. You are HUNGRY, HUMBLE, and ELEVATE those around you while crushing goals.
Startup lean mentality: Scrappy, and the ability to make do without much support, resources, budget, etc.
You must have an owner mindset - not an employee mindset.
You thrive working in a fast-paced environment, with little instructions, and get the job done no matter what. You like to own, you don’t rent.
Experience:
3-5 years of experience in a growth marketing role, ideally within a startup or fast-paced environment.
Experience managing Lifecycle and Retention at a previous startup. Early stage startup (zero to one) preferably pre-Series A within DTC / e-commerce.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding growth marketing targets and being a master at email & SMS marketing (primary channel), with experience overseeing paid advertising, digital strategies, and improving site CTRs, CVR, AOVs, retention, and more.
Previous experience working with tools such as commerce platforms such as Shopify, Email & SMS (Attentive, Klaviyo - this is a must!), Google Analytics, Facebook ads manager, Aftersell/Rebuy, AI tools, etc.
Creative and analytical. For the internal responsibilities regarding content, you must have excellent written, oral, and visual communication + skills with a knack for branding and storytelling.
