Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and versatile Marketing Manager, Lifecycle and Product to join our team. This role blends the strategic aspects of email marketing with the creative flair of product marketing. The ideal candidate will be adept at crafting engaging email campaigns to drive customer engagement and retention while also possessing a keen understanding of our products and their market positioning. Key Responsibilities:

  • Gain a deep understanding of our products, features, and benefits, as well as their competitive landscape.
  • Work closely with Growth, Product and CX teams to align messaging with customer needs and pain points at each stage of the customer journey.
  • Map out customer journey stages and develop lifecycle marketing strategies to guide users through each phase.
  • Create product messaging and positioning that resonates with target audiences and differentiates our offerings in the market.
  • Develop marketing collateral such as product guides, case studies, and sales enablement materials to support product launches and ongoing promotions.
  • Develop and execute strategies through email, push, and SMS marketing campaigns to nurture leads, onboard new users, and engage existing customers.
  • Segment email & SMS lists based on behaviors, demographics, and other criteria to ensure targeted messaging.
  • Continuously analyze email & SMS performance metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversions, etc.) and optimize campaigns for maximum effectiveness.
  • Implement automated workflows and trigger-based emails to deliver personalized messaging at the right time.
  • Identify opportunities to improve retention and reduce churn through targeted lifecycle marketing initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • At minimum, 3+ years of experience in email marketing in a consumer SaaS environment. Please note: You must have experience working with a consumer software (SaaS) product – please do not apply otherwise. Bonus points for previous hardware/software experience!
  • Proficiency in marketing platforms (e.g., Klaviyo, Shopify, Sendgrid) and marketing automation tools.
  • Experience with A/B testing, segmentation, and campaign optimization techniques.
  • Solid understanding of product marketing principles and the ability to translate technical features into customer benefits.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights to drive marketing strategies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to craft compelling messaging tailored to specific audience segments, and the ability to work effectively across multiple teams.

Compensation

  • We offer a competitive salary ($80,000 - $110,000)
