Description

• Partner with multi-functional teams to evaluate design and processes at the concept phase
• Develop measurement technologies, control strategies, information systems, and manufacturing methods that achieve ambitious specifications at a massive production scale
• Compile and evaluate data to figure out appropriate limits and variables for process and part specifications
• Lead activities to balance unparalleled quality with scalable yields
• Work with internal and external groups to ensure that a proper definition of quality expectations and appropriate assurance techniques are used for the product
• Drive failure analysis and corrective actions multi-functionally with internal and external team members
• Design, develop, optimize, review and debug software in C/C++/Objective-C used in interacting with embedded systems (especially for optical testing)
• Cooperate with cross functional & multidisciplinary teams to specify and implement test coverage (especially for optical testing)
• Run simulations or experiments to make data driven decisions and present results to senior management (especially for optical testing)
• Redefine existing algorithms to optimize them for performance or execution time
• Deploy calibration and performance verification stations throughout the NPI cycle
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Proven working experience in the manufacturing field, BS or above in EE/Imaging/Physics/Optics
• Proven working experience in the development of inspection & testing machines (especially for optical testing)
• Programming skills in one or more of the following: C/C++/Objective-C/Lua/Python
• Fluent in English communication
• Experience in one or more source control systems like Git/SVN
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Good initiative, problem solving, and systematic thinking
• Ability to work proactively in a collaborative, highly cross-functional and fast pace environment
• Strong learning capability
• Knowledge of Statistics, Data Science, ML
• 3+ years of professional experience with at least 2 years working on camera, optics or imaging products
• Experience in high volume consumer electronics calibration, testing, and manufacturing experience
• Experience with embedded systems, automation and motion control
• Experience with image processing algorithms
• Experience with plotting, processing, and mining data
• Experience with Xcode
• Oversea education background is preferred.
