Summary
The EMEIA Logistics team at Apple is seeking a dynamic, experienced, and self-motivated individual for the role of EMEIA Inbound Logistics Analyst. In this role, you will be part of a team dedicated to achieving best-in-class end-to-end logistics planning. As a critical conduit between the business teams and Apple’s logistics partners, your success will ensure seamless planning and execution of logistics operations. This position presents an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual contributor with a background in Operations and Logistics. The ideal candidate will have a consistent record in collaborating effectively with partner teams. The primary objective is to ensure that Apple shipments meet or beat the agreed delivery timelines, thereby delivering exceptional performance for Apple’s customers.
Description
You will be the key liaison between logistics’ partner teams, and the freight forwarder management functions within the overall team, ensuring the business timelines are achieved, and project requirements are met.
Oversee the customer fulfilment experience by tracking key metrics and resolving shipping exceptions.
Work with partners across Inbound, Outbound, our Distribution Centres, the Contact Center, and 3PLs.
Review partner performance and customer behaviour to spot issues and take action.
Build dashboards and reports with support from our Business Process Re-engineering team.
Support peak periods and adjust to shifting operational needs.
Contribute to Projects and represent Inbound Logistics where required.

Responsibilities
- Origin Execution: monitoring and management of shipments OTG (On the Ground) ex OEM to EMEIA including OEM, APOL, FF and airline engagement to assess risk to planned lift / flights and managing exceptions.
- Destination Management: Monitor the management system to ensure that all shipments are handled over to FF as per T&C’s to ensure no liability risk to Apple.
- Final mile escalation and driving recovery to SLAs / SDDs.
- Allocation management: Implementing a management system across CPT and TMS to ensure that we allocate to the Finished Goods and AppleCare carriers as per our agreements to ensure no exposure to Apple.
- Quality Management: Increasing focus and driving initiatives including automation of reporting.
- Carrier Management: Managing Carrier Performance / WBR / MBR / QBR preparation and presentations.
- Escalation management.
- Manage Loss & Damage / Quality issues.
- Manage all KPI Metrics.
- Carrier OnBoarding: DRI to drive the process with BPR / Origin / Freight forwarder partners and across our internal teams.
- Establish and roll out SOW’s / SOP’s etc and test those across the multiple parties.
- Work actively with providers on green efficiency programs.
- Data driven with razor sharp analytical decision making.
- Have strong problem solving abilities.

- Confident to manage through ambiguity and uncertainty. Take initiative and thrive in autonomous work environment.

- Comfortable, confident and articulate when communicating to various levels of the organisation.
- Degree or MBA / MSc in Business Analytics and / or Data Science or similar field.
