The role would play a key part of a dynamic and agile Sales Finance organization.

Description

Based in Seoul, you will be a key member of the Korea Sales Finance team (12-month contract). This role is not just about crunching numbers; it is about driving business performance by providing deep financial insights and strategic influence. You will act as a bridge between local sales execution and global strategy, ensuring that every investment we make is impactful and aligned with Apple’s long-term goals in the Korean market.

Responsibilities

  • Business Insight & Performance: Partner closely with Sales to understand the local market context. Provide insightful analysis on business variability and share these findings with forecasting and sales teams to drive strategic actions.
  • Investment Strategy & ROI: Collaborate with sales leaders to develop and execute investment strategies, including demand generation, partner margins, and fixture investments. Be accountable for estimating and analyzing ROI.
  • Global Alignment: Build strong relationships with Worldwide Sales Finance (Cupertino) to effectively deploy global strategies, evaluating their fit for the Korean market and advocating Geo-led proposals.
  • Operational Excellence: Partner with Sales Operations and Global Business Solutions to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial processes including sales incentive calculations, performance reporting and partner payout.
  • Drive Strategic Initiatives: Manage and execute key finance projects including Worldwide-driven initiatives such as the streamlining of end-to-end processes, coordinating effectively across local and regional stakeholders to ensure successful implementation.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or another relevant field.
  • Experience: 2–3+ years of professional experience in commercial finance, business planning, strategy, or consulting
  • Analytical Excellence: High level of analytical skills with extreme attention to detail and a validated ability to influence business through numbers.
  • Problem Solving: Proven ability to navigate ambiguous situations using complex or incomplete data to build robust business models and forecasts.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both English and Korean, being able to translate complex quantitative data into a compelling narrative for various stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Technical Proficiency: Knowledge on SQL, Tableau, Python and advanced Excel. Ability to streamline reporting process using SQL, Tableau and Python etc is a plus
  • Agility: A proactive self-starter who can manage multiple work-streams independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
