As a Data Infrastructure Engineer, you will help build Shazam's data platform which encompasses batch and real-time stream

processing of mobile app event data, ETL jobs, machine learning modelling, and more.

Description

The role is based in in London while involving close collaboration with engineering & product teams around the world.

You will help maintain our data platform’s infrastructure as well as utilise it to build new features & content.

You will work across a wide array of systems & technologies that include both batch & real-time streaming pipelines.

You will be able to participate, contribute, and even lead impactful projects that will allow us to further grow & improve upon our

data platform.

Minimum Qualifications

• Is currently participating in or has completed an emerging talent program at Apple from the following: Apprenticeship, Evolve, Internship.
• Continuous learning and improvement mindset, willing to push yourself outside of your comfort zone
• Understanding and application of software engineering best practises
• Understanding of troubleshooting distributed systems
• Familiarity with cloud technologies
• Familiarity with DevOps tools
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Self-starter and happy to build collaborative relationships with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Interest or experience in analysing and working with large datasets in BigQuery
• Interest or experience in managing GCP infrastructure via Terraform
• Interest or experience in orchestrating batch jobs in Airflow
