Summary
We bring amazing people together to make amazing things happen.
We’re a diverse collective of thinkers and doers, continuously reimagining our products and practices to help people do what they love in new ways. That innovation is inspired by a shared commitment to great work — and to each other. Because learning from the people here means we’re learning from the best.
The Camera Hardware Engineering group is responsible for the development of key technology for Apple products.
We are seeking an energetic and highly motivated production engineer to work on advanced optical technology development.
Will you help us create the next generation of revolutionary Apple products?
Description
To support new process development and the establishment of manufacturing lines for our new products, we are expanding our Production Engineering team. We are seeking a core talent who can strongly lead the setup of production lines. The ideal candidate will take a hands-on approach to drive the rapid in-house fabrication of equipment and tooling, while effectively managing external vendors according to the project scale.
We are looking for a professional with comprehensive experience in production engineering. Your expertise should cover setting up environments for new product design and process validation, as well as handling everything from the conceptual design and launch of production equipment to tooling design and vendor management (e.g., equipment manufacturers) once the process is finalized.
As we handle high-precision optical components, hands-on experience and knowledge in sub-micron level assembly and evaluation are critical.
Additionally, you will be expected to collaborate closely with the process development and product design teams, and work alongside our suppliers to ensure successful technology transfers.
We are looking for an individual who can think logically to meet highly complex requirements, work independently, communicate smoothly with stakeholders including global teams, and continuously embrace new challenges.
