Summary
Sales Finance plays a critical role in producing financial statements, providing forecasts, and delivering commercial insights to our sales organisation. The PART (Process, Analytics, Reporting and Technology) team builds and maintains the infrastructure that enables finance analysts to operate at peak performance.
We are seeking someone to govern core data and drive process and automation change within our finance organisation. This role is split into two main functions: first, managing a team of independent and highly tenured data operations analysts to govern and administer the capture of critical reseller sales and inventory data; and second, driving reporting, process and automation as a support function for a larger Sales Finance team.
An ideal applicant would be first and foremost a finance professional who has built their technical skills. You must natively speak the language of finance, fundamentally understand financial modelling and forecasting, and grasp the business 'why' behind the numbers. You must possess strong data and system architecture skills, be energised by driving system migrations, champion automation, and support teams across multiple geographies.

Description
Team leadership
- Lead a team of three tenured data operations analysts by setting strategic direction and providing organisational context for longer-term initiatives.
- Translate organisational goals into policies and actionable processes for reseller data management.
- Manage the ongoing transition to a new core system for your team’s analysts and identify automation opportunities arising from it.
- Develop measurement frameworks and reporting to monitor and improve data quality and efficiency over time.
- Define and administer data access control policies.
- Query and investigate data independently using SQL, Excel, and BI tools. You will add most value by architecting rather than implementing, but will also regularly get your hands dirty. For example, you'd have no problem explaining off the cuff how to implement a conditional join based on your knowledge of the edge cases across two datasets.
- Define requirements as we more tightly integrate internal systems. Advise process and technical teams on how regional processes and data vary, and determine the necessary process, data, or system alignments required for our tools to communicate effectively.
- Act as the co-located champion for the Southeast Asia Commercial Finance team, deeply understanding their unique commercial structures and resulting impacts on data, reporting and systems, while supporting additional teams across the pacific region.
- Design and build process solutions that balance regional nuance with cross-geography consistency.
- Support future-facing AI and automation initiatives by focusing on upstream process and data readiness, creating the foundation for advanced automation.
- Partner closely with internal technical teams to guide development work, acting as the translator between business needs and technical delivery.
- Lead cross-team alignment initiatives, defining roles and responsibilities between data operations, technical analysts, finance teams, and IS&T partners in multiple regions.
- Manage stakeholder relationships across finance, sales, vendors, and technology partners.
- Ensure effective communication of changes, deployments and expectations to diverse stakeholder groups.
- Provide project support and consulting to business units on data, process, and governance aspects of their initiatives.
- 8+ years of experience and prior experience working hands-on in a finance, commercial finance, or FP&A role.
- Prior exposure to implementing workflow automation or AI initiatives within finance or operations.
- Proficiency with SQL, Excel, Tableau (or similar BI tools), and ETL pipelines, with the technical capability to write queries, pull your own data, and update configurations.
- Experience translating complex business requirements into rigorous technical specifications for internal engineering/IT teams.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of bridging the gap between technical developers and non-technical business stakeholders.
- Proven ability to lead through influence and providing strategic context.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a STEM field.
- Familiarity with sales finance, channel inventory, or sell-through data operations and incentive programs.
- Experience working in a regional capacity (Southeast Asia, Australia, New Zealand, North Asia) and navigating global matrix structures.
