Apple’s Sales organization generates the revenue needed to fuel our ongoing product development and services. This in turn, enriches the lives of hundreds of millions of people around the world. Our sales team, is in many ways, the ambassador of Apple to our largest customers.

In this role you will define the strategy and deploy Point-of-Sales (POS) programs with our key partners. You will own these efforts across the different channel routes-to-market (Retailers, Carriers and Monobrand Reseller Partners), depending on top strategic priorities.

As a seasoned merchandising professional with several years of experience preferably in a retail environment, the Channel Sales Programs Manager will, in close coordination with the sales teams, plan and execute the deployment, new product introduction, maintenance and interactive experience of the merchandising programs across multiple channels, ensuring quality and readiness to ensure an exceptional customer experience.

The candidate will lead the the Point of Sales Operations team in Mexico, supporting sales strategies and priorities working closely with key partners such as ALAC (Latin America) Point-of-Sales Operations team, In-store Tech, local field staff and sales, reseller partners and external agencies.

Description
Continuously maintain a well-rounded understanding of Mexico sales strategies to support the country plans by leveraging POS experience and linked POS initiatives installing new POS programs, ensuring the quality at POS at all times or rolling out new products at our branded points of sales.

Lead discussions with key stakeholders to distill needs, priorities, risks and impacts associated with multiple POS projects. You understand that operational excellence requires clear direction, great organization, and the ability to eliminate roadblocks.

  • Support Mexico POS programs strategy aligned to the country's priorities
  • Engage with partners to align their needs and our objectives and to develop the right initiatives (negotiate the right POS spaces, influence the type of programs or merchandising needed, etc.)
  • Own and maximize the POS operations budget for the country
  • Own the lifecycle of programs -- from planning to installation, maintenance, new product introductions, refreshes, etc.
  • Discuss with partners new POS programs, maintenance needs, audits results and gain their support to implement initiatives to provide the best customer experience
  • Interact with vendors (RFI, get quotes and invoices, coordinate services, etc.)

Minimum Qualifications
  • Generally requires 5+ years of experience in sales operations, trade marketing or point of sales operations in the technology or luxury industry
  • Well-rounded experience in business planning and strategy with proven implementation skills.
  • Proven experience in POS programs management with channel partners, with strong awareness of internal and external objectives and the importance of brand and standards for the channel
  • Honed interpersonal skills to quickly connect and build strong professional partnerships with internal and external partners including C -Level
  • Excel Proficiency
  • Fluency in English and Spanish
  • Exceptional ability to manage complex projects involving multiple teams/phases and conflicting interests
  • Solid business knowledge to connect the dots among seemingly independent subjects and to challenge cross-functional teams and partners to achieve the desired results
  • Foresight to anticipate risks and mobilize stakeholders to eliminate or minimize such risks in a timely manner
