Marketing & Communications, Software Engineering
British Columbia, Canada · Vancouver, BC, Canada
CAD 119,100-230,500 / year + Equity
Posted on Aug 28, 2026
Summary
What if the media management infrastructure you architect today became the backbone of how millions of creatives organize, sync, and collaborate on their work for the next decade? This is a founding-team opportunity on a high-visibility project where your decisions on cloud syncing architecture, on-device storage, and cross-platform media management will shape products used across iOS and macOS at Apple's scale. You won't inherit someone else's design, you'll set the direction.
Description
You'll own end-to-end architecture for cloud syncing and media management features, writing performant, multi-threaded Swift code that ships to a massive install base and holds up under real creative workloads. Your collaborators will be HI designers, QA engineers, and cross-functional teams who expect you to bridge deep technical judgment with clear communication — influencing product direction, not just implementation. Every week, you'll compound your expertise in CloudKit, AVKit, and on-device storage while raising the technical bar for engineers around you through mentorship and architectural leadership.
