Spread queer joy & connection in your city! Become a Lex community builder to facilitate queer events and empower LGBTQ+ people to tap into their local queer community.
What you’ll be doing:
Grassroots activations - taping flyers in key neighborhoods, Lex swag giveaways at events and at local queer businesses
Attend Lex events in your area and collaborate with organizers to ensure seamless outcomes
Use social media to spread the word about happenings on Lex in your area
Who you are:
You are a social butterfly and love people — ideally you’re already involved in your local queer community
You’re extremely passionate about building queer community, attending queer events, and making every aspect of your life as queer as it can be!
You LOVE Lex and already rave about it to your friends — you understand the app’s features and regularly use it for finding lovers, friends, events, & community
How we’ll be working together:
Team Lex will deliver monthly assignments that you’ll be responsible for completing
You’ll work both autonomously and in collaboration with other community builders to complete the given assignments
Lex team will always be available for support and to answer any questions you might have
What you need to know:
You’ll have an onboarding Zoom meeting with Lex’s marketing manager and other community builders in your city
You must be able to dedicate 4-10 hours for one month to completing assignments
Must be comfortable with in-person, collaborative work as well as solo work!
This application is only for people based in NYC, LA, Chicago, PDX, Seattle
Compensation:
$30/hr for approximately 4-10 hours a month
