Live Tinted is hiring a Senior Director of Finance to lead all finance processes, with a focus on quantifiably impacting the Profit / Loss bottom line. This includes supporting cross-functional teams in profitability analysis by SKU and channel, and supporting cross-functional partners accountable for operational excellence, working capital management and overall efficiency. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who dreams big and excels in a fast-paced, test-and-learn environment. This is a hybrid role in Los Angeles, in office expectations 3 days a week

Description

Finance :

  • Oversee financial planning/analysis, cash resource management & budgeting processes, and reporting
  • Build and maintain forecast model, including financial performance reporting, ad hoc analysis, KPIs and communication across internal and external teams
  • Develop Long Range Plan and work with executive team & board of directors to reflow based on performance and strategic priorities, inclusive of geographical expansion
  • Identify opportunities for profitability across the value chain, including supply chain, partnerships, operations, and customer channels
  • Manage day-to-day financial operations and third-party teams, including invoicing, reconciliation, billing, vendor payments, COGS, tax, and related processes
  • Work closely with executive management and board to support financial planning, cash forecasting, performance modeling, and scenario analysis
  • Lead monthly financial close process and support audit requirements
  • Develop and manage compliance to key financial policies, including audit traceability, T&E, AML, and others as required with company growth
  • Oversee retailer invoicing and manage accounts receivables process, including analysis and efficiencies from G2N chargebacks, to support wholesale channel contribution margin
  • Manage outsourced accounting & audit firms

Analytics:

  • Support cross-functional teams in weekly analytics, with a focus on channel performance and profitability analysis
  • Develop ad-hoc analysis for proposed investments across departments
  • Build and automate standard reporting on commercial performance + growth opportunities, including field team, store-level analytics, digital marketing initiatives, and infrastructure
  • Support negotiation of key partner contracts, including suppliers, retail partners, software providers, and third-party agencies
  • As a category expert, participate in and contribute to multiple initiatives, spanning sales, marketing and growth

Ideal Candidate

  • 10+ years professional experience, with preference for CPG/beauty industry experience, including but not limited to multiple channels & retailer landscape, manufacturing & co-packers, etc.
  • Ability to understand complex business drivers, produce high-quality analysis, and communicate effectively
  • Solid experience in business operations and ability to set up systems and processes to ensure financial controls and traceability
  • Experience with accounting (Quickbooks) and ERP systems
  • Excellent organizational and time management with the ability to independently manage and prioritize workload
  • Willingness to function at 10,000 feet and roll up your sleeves
  • Detail, process, and quality-oriented with a passion for accuracy
  • Must be able to perform in high-pressure, team-oriented atmosphere
  • Collaborative – strong organizational and communication skills required to
  • work effectively with both technical and non-technical team members.
  • Confident – financial, data, and digital savviness and a proven track record of understanding and utilizing qualitative and quantitative data
