JOB OVERVIEW
The Classroom Lead Teacher will be responsible for delivering Milk Bar Magic in our private and public classes. This role serves as Milk Bar champion, demo teacher and host all in one. This role will also provide oversight of administrative and logistical aspects, including working with the other teachers to keep classrooms running smoothly and coordinating bookings for all classes.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own the Classroom Experience program, serving as the primary contact for the Classroom team in all Flagships regarding administrative and logistical needs. This includes overseeing scheduling, final payroll approval, monitoring labor hours, and expenditure approval.
- Work cross-functionally to coordinate the planning and posting of new class offerings; including gathering production information, creative assets, and marketing assistance.
- Coordinate with classroom teachers and BOH to ensure all event details are accounted for including class production, catering, gift bags, and any other add ons to ensure a smooth customer experience.
- Partner with the CX Specialist to manage master schedule of private and public events in all classroom spaces.
- Work closely with the CX Specialist and Classroom Teachers to coordinate weekly and monthly private events and classes. Ensure event calendars are updated and staff are informed.
- Work closely with CX Specialist to track attendance and payments for public events, as well as contracts, payments and arrangements for onsite events.
- Host and teach weekly schedule of public and private classes. Engage and captivate classroom guests to ensure they have the best possible experience.
- Assess and provide feedback and suggestions for class curriculum to make existing programs unique and relevant to local markets.
- Pre-class prep and post-class breakdown including preparing class mise-en-place, washing dishes as needed, and leaving the classroom prepped and ready for the next event; general day-to-day maintenance of classroom space.
- Keep classroom inventory stocked to ensure you have what is needed on hand at all times.
- Work cross-departmentally to create and improve organizational systems for managing classes and events.
- Fully understand and exhibit the Milk Bar ethos, embodying our core values and inspiring celebration. Serve as a brand ambassador, both internally and externally.

Requirements
- Established presentation skills are a MUST.
- Ability to problem solve with an open mind.
- Comfortable navigating multiple projects simultaneously, setting priorities, building processes from scratch, meeting deadlines, and staying within budget.
- An entrepreneurial spirit and ability to embrace uncertainty and challenges.
- Professional pastry experience is preferred but not necessary!
- Ability to build relationships with staff and guests alike while embracing change.
- Efficient time management skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Must be able to safely lift up to 25 lbs and remain in a stationary position for shifts.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends - Open schedule is a MUST.
- Strong proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft 365, especially Excel.
Salary Description
$24.00 per hour
