About the role:

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition/Recruitment Manager to join us and grow our talented People Operations team. This individual will be responsible for leading and executing on all recruitment efforts across the company - this includes clinical, business and engineering teams. As Oula continues to scale, this role will play a critical part in building and leading a high-performing recruitment team, mentoring junior recruiters, and establishing best practices that will support our expanding organization.

We are looking for someone who has great communication skills, strong acumen for clinical hiring, a passion for candidate experience, and proven leadership abilities to guide team growth. This leader will be excited to support organizational growth, establish the recruiting function, and develop the recruitment team's capabilities as we expand our hiring needs. You will work directly with leadership and key business stakeholders to ensure a quality candidate hiring experience, grow a compelling Oula recruitment brand, and build scalable recruitment processes that can evolve with the company.

This role reports to the Sr. Director of People Operations with a dotted line to the Co-Founder and COO.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage full cycle recruiting for multiple clinical and corporate roles, creating sourcing and engagement strategies to bring the best talent to each role
  • Implement processes and systems to ensure a seamless candidate experience and internal recruiting program
  • Pitch a compelling Oula narrative and recruiting brand to engage external candidates
  • Lead the management of an ATS system to manage and track candidates
  • Regularly manage pipeline activity and maintain data integrity, and proactively share data-centric updates with internal stakeholders
  • Develop relationships with key networks, including midwives and obstetricians to broaden the applicant pool for talent for years to come
  • Drive offer and pre-hire process - including extending offers, negotiations, closing candidates, and generating offer letters
  • Track metrics and conduct cyclic trend-watching in order to continue best-in-class candidate experience and reporting

About You:

  • Passionate about improving maternity care, and excited to lead a recruiting function supporting crossfunctional team leads
  • A strong, empathetic listener and proactive communicator with the ability to connect with a wide variety of audiences and respond to a wide variety of needs
  • Experienced in start-ups or changing environments and comfortable with driving the implementation of and adherence to new systems and processes
  • Knowledge of the healthcare and tech industry and key strategies and approaches to hiring clinical and corporate staff


Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • You have 5+ years recruiting experience
  • You have a proven track record of recruiting for clinical roles or in healthcare
  • You have experience establishing and or leading recruiting functions
  • You are comfortable working in a startup environment
  • You are an excellent communicator and relationship builder
  • You have keen attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Experience in Greenhouse, healthtech, and/or reproductive health recruitment a plus

We are open to candidates who are looking to start at part-time hours.

Oula offers a competitive total rewards package which includes base salary, and comprehensive benefits. Exact compensation inclusive of salary and any bonuses is determined based on a number of factors including experience and skill level, location, and qualifications which are assessed during the interview process. Salary Range
$120,000$140,000 USD
