About the Role
As a Strategic Account Executive, you will be instrumental in driving Wagmo’s growth through securing high-value enterprise partnerships and launching large-scale affiliate programs. This role requires a consultative approach to sales, exceptional relationship-building skills, and the ability to navigate complex sales cycles. You’ll work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure successful execution of partner initiatives, creating impactful solutions that bring Wagmo’s mission to life on a broader scale.
Core Responsibilities
Enterprise growth: Identify, source, close, and launch high-value enterprise partnerships with membership groups and digital platforms and navigate complex sales cycles, driving significant revenue and expanding Wagmo’s presence.
Channel expansion: Add new 1:many channel partners and distribution partners, broadening Wagmo’s market reach and impact.
Affiliate strategy development: Build and activate large-scale affiliate programs to promote Wagmo’s offerings to vast membership bases.
Achieve sales goals: Consistently exceed sales quotas and performance metrics, contributing to overall company objectives.
Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with internal teams to execute and advance sales opportunities seamlessly.
Market Advocacy: Represent Wagmo’s mission and solutions with credibility and passion, positioning the company as a leader in the pet benefits space.
What You’ll Need to Be Successful
8+ years of B2B sales experience, with a focus on enterprise and strategic partnerships.
Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets, closing high-value, large-scale partnerships, and navigating complex sales cycles.
Expertise in consultative sales, mass marketing activations, and driving high engagement among affiliates.
Exceptional communication (verbal and written), presentation, relationship-building, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage and influence C-level executives.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities to craft tailored solutions.
Entrepreneurial drive with motivation to succeed in an innovative, fast-paced environment.
A team-player attitude with a desire to contribute to the company's mission and goals.
Background in the pet care and/or employer benefits industry preferred.
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA or similar) is a plus.
