Project Duration: 30 hrs/week for 12 weeks

About the Role:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to support the implementation and setup of a new Digital Asset Management (DAM) system. This freelance role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience managing DAM platforms and a strong understanding of asset workflows, taxonomy, and metadata. You will play a key role in ensuring a smooth transition to our new DAM system and in establishing a scalable foundation for asset organization and retrieval.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the implementation and configuration of a new DAM platform in collaboration with internal stakeholders and vendors
• Assist in defining metadata schemas, folder structures, and user permissions to align with business needs
• Upload digital assets (photos, videos, graphics, PDFs, etc.) into the new DAM system during the migration process
• Apply accurate and consistent metadata, tags, and naming conventions to assets based on newly established standards
• Perform quality control checks to ensure proper ingestion, organization, and accessibility of assets
• Maintain version control, archival protocols, and deduplication processes throughout the implementation phase
• Provide feedback on system usability and contribute to training materials for end users

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience with DAM systems (e.g., Bynder, Brandfolder, Canto, or similar), ideally including system rollout or migration
• Solid understanding of file types, resolutions, metadata standards, copyright tagging, and version control
• Familiarity with creative asset lifecycles and brand workflows
• Ability to translate technical setup into intuitive user experiences
